Where to find him
During the winter he cooks in Madesimo, his home town in the Italian Alps. Here Stefano and his wife Raffaella run their Michelin Star restaurant Il Cantinone and a small alpine hotel, the Sport Hotel Alpina, with 8 junior suites.
During the summer Stefano and Raffaella fly to California where they manage events at the V.Sattui Winery in Napa Valley. At times he can also be found cooking in some special place around in the world.
As a lover of cured meats and local food, he has created MA! Officina Gastronomica, together with his sous chef Stefano Ciabarri and Raffaella. It is a laboratory of taste and ideas in which the traditional brisaola and many other gourmet specialities are produced.
At times, he also becomes an author.
